CARE TIPS

⚠️ Special care is needed for this highly detailed skirt to maintain its pleats.

Due to the nature of the fabric, it can lose their pleats over time. Buyer is suggested to iron the pleats before wearing it and also after washing it, or send the skirt to laundry shop for them to do the ironing and steam pressing.

░ How to store the skirt
Store pleated skirts by rolling them up along the direction of the pleats and stuffed in a storage bag.
Or hang the skirt after wearing it to help the panels fall into place naturally.

░ How to wash the skirt
Suggested not to hand wash/machine wash because it may distort the pleats.
I also suggest not to wash the entire skirt because it can be very tricky to iron the pleats of the entire skirt. You may consider to spot clean if there is minor stains.

░ How to iron the skirt
Use lowest temperature setting. Iron one pleat at a time.
Do not direct iron on the embroidery / Do not steam press the embroidery.
When ironing the embroidery part:
-Place a bath towel on ironing surface and lay the embroidery face down on the towel
-Fold one pleat and sandwich a piece of cardboard in between (I’ve provided the cardboard for you)
-Use teflon sole when ironing, or cover the embroidery with a piece of thin fabric (if you do not have teflon sole for the iron), no direct ironing as this is to protect the embroidery from the heat of the iron
