The making of this costume is extremely labour-intensive. Everything is highly detailed.
Main materials of the leotard are faux suede and lycra. There is 2 buttons in the crotch area for ease.
Chest and back window detailing are done by hand cutting velvet applique pattern and top stitched carefully on transparent black organza by using very short stitch length.
Feathers are sewed onto a band and curled to achieve the perfect shape based on the reference picture. It can be detached from the sleeves for easy washing 😉
I use pleather for the white arm warmers. It has 3D detailing, not printed or painted ;)
All black and white running stitches are hand stitched 💦
The skirt is fully lined. Faux suede exterior and polyester interior. Both layers have HIGH-density machine embroidered silver decorative design.

- the design is machine embroidered.
- obi belt length is about 150cm while the embroidery design on the obi belt is about 85cm.
Both the obi belt and bow are fully lined and interfaced. I use medium weight interfacing fabric for obi belt and light weight interfacing fabric for the bow, so the obi belt is stiffer than the bow.
The pre-tied ribbon has a u-shaped wire hook and a string for you to wrap around your waist.

The making of this Ada Wong cosplay add-on parts are very labour-intensive as the details on the costume are 100% hand painted by me.
I added ombre effect to all of her butterflies details - colors graduated from dark maroon to light maroon, you can see it clearly on 8th photo =D
